DJI MAVIC AIR 2
Up your game with the latest DJI Mavic Air 2 Drone, bringing you the best images and video quality throughout your entire flight. The Mavic Air 2 sports a large, and fully stabilised 1/2-inch, 48MP camera – leaving you with top quality 48MP, and incredible stabilised 4K video recording of up to 60 fps. Not only can you record standard video, but this drone is equipped with so many different flight modes which allow you to explore more.
Large 1/2-inch CMOS, 48MP Camera
Up your game with the compact DJI Mavic Air 2 Drone by capturing really impressive shots while soaring high, all thanks to a large 1/2-inch CMOS, 48MP camera. You never ever have to worry of bad quality again as the Mavic Air 2 from DJI will leave you with crystal clear, detailed stills and video.
The camera doesn’t only just capture stunning image quality but also incorporates some advanced technology that will take your aerial content to the next level. Some of these features include the following:
- SmartPhoto – where it integrates scene recognition,
- Hyperlight, and HDR into one mode for optimal results.
- Scene Recognition optimises different camera parameters for various scenes and supports intelligent recognition of the following five categories: skies, sunset, grass, trees, and snow.Whereas the HyperLight specifically optimises photos that have been captured in low-light conditions, and the HDR specifically helps by increasing the dynamic range and clarity of your image. All thanks to advanced algorithms that the Mavic Air 2 incorporates, makes it possible for the drone to analyse each scene, to adjusting exposure parameters and layering shots to generate nuanced, high-quality photos.

HDR Panorama Shots
Flourish in the sky with a variety of professional functions that the Mavic Air 2 has to offer you. Exciting features include FocusTrack that leaves you with professional-quality footage and that’s in focus. The intelligent tracking modes include Active Track 3.0 – where it will follow subjects while avoiding obstacles is smoother than ever and keeps your subject in the centre of the frame, even if they move behind a tree all thanks to the latest version of DJI ActiveTrack technology incorporated; Spotlight 2.0 – this allows you to fly freely while the camera remains locked on the subject with this convenient mode (simply lock onto your subject and let the Mavic Air 2 take care of the rest; and Point of Interest 3.0 – here it improves the capabilities of Point of Interest 2.0, especially on the recognition of flat surfaces, whereas on version 2.0 it might lose the target while tracking, and is now capable of dynamically tracking objects such as people, cars, and boats.
8K Hyperlapse
The Mavic Air 2 from DJI now supports Hyperlapse in 8K format, where you can warp time and space for really stunning video footage, and what’s amazing is that you won’t have to take it into post-production. Simply choose between Free, Circle, Course Lock, and Waypoint modes, and then select the shooting location and the DJI Fly app will do the rest.
Remote Controller Designed for Pilots
The newly designed remote controller features an ergonomic design for a more comfortable grip and boasts an impressively long battery life of 240 minutes. The new clamp makes attaching smartphones fast and easy, while integrated antennas significantly improve user experience.

QuickShot Mode
Simply create beautiful cinematic video clips automatically with the QuickShots. This will enable the Mavic Air 2 to fly a complicated aerial route for a professional-quality shot. You can then add your music, effects, and filters with super-intuitive Story templates to your footage, which you can then share your masterpiece directly to social media.
OcuSync 2.0 10km 1080p/30fps Video Transmission
The drone now features OcuSync technology instead of Wi-Fi, where It now offers drone pilots a video transmission distance of up to 10 km (6km in South Africa) – allowing you to fly much further than before, and can also deliver 1080p FHD resolution live stream directly from the Mavic Air 2 drone’s camera.
Reliable Signal for a Smooth Flight
The Mavic Air 2 drone now supports 2.4/5.8GHz dual-frequency communications that will enable a reliable signal and smooth flight. It automatically switches to the best channel with the lowest interference in real-time – which will significantly enhance the aircraft’s anti-interference in challenging environments, leading to improved flight safety.
Improved Battery and Flight Time
With an improved battery, you’ll be able to stay a bit longer in the air to capture perfect cinematic aerial footage for about 34 minutes in the air, as well as pulling off epic, fast-paced shots with a maximum flight speed of to 68 kph when Sport mode has been activated.
Advanced Pilot Assistance Systems (APAS) 3.0 Obstacle Avoidance
Having Advanced Pilot Assistance Systems (APAS) 3.0 Obstacle Avoidance incorporated into the Mavic Air2 is very much important to pilots, as it perceives its environments in three directions: forward that’s accurate up to 22 meters, backward that’s accurate up to 23.6 meters, and downward. It also features an auxiliary light that helps improve the visibility, to ensure safe landing and visibility in the air, and with the extra layer of security that obstacle avoidance provides is perfect for pushing the limits. The APAS 3.0 technology utilizes an advanced mapping technology for smooth following and reliable obstacle avoidance in complex scenarios.
DJI Fly App- Effortless editing
The DJI Fly App allows drone pilots to create amazing content and then to effortlessly edit them in the app, making it more convenient than ever. The built-in DJI Mimo app editor provides you with manual settings, advanced functions, and intuitive templates, allowing you to create professional compositions in no time.
ND Filters Optimal Options
Mavic Air 2 offers two ND filter sets that help control exposure and provide more creative options. The ND 16/64/256 set is helpful for adjusting shutter speed and in extreme lighting conditions, while the ND 4/8/32 set enables vivid images even with low ISO values.
